Angelica was the only sister who was spared, and she wrote a diary for a few weeks after the murders had occurred, before being murdered herself. The books chronicle the lives of the 12 sisters, starting with Angelica and ending with Adriana. The main character of the series is Kirsch, a vampire who has been living for over six-hundred years. He is depicted as an extremely handsome vampire that is not only powerful but also incredibly seductive.
